Montana Artist Nan Parsons

Summer (my wife and designer) have been working on a whole new web site with all new content.  I’ve also started transferring the archived Photos of the Day into the new blog format.  That is a project that is going to take quite some time as each entry needs to be moved individually.  In the mean time I thought it was high time to start blogging regularly again.  I did it for so many years, it’s amazing how easy it is to get out of the habit.

I’ve been very busy these past months, so while the new site is coming together I’ll start posting some of the images I’ve captured during my course of work.

Pictured above is Montana Artist Nan Parsons.  She was photographed in Basin, Montana (pop. 300) sitting in her home.  It is a cabin without electricity she built with friends over 30 years ago on the outskirts of town.  I spent about a week in Basin last fall.  Nan is one of the founders of the Montana Artist Refuge.
