One of my favorite clients is the Northwest Film Center. For the past two weeks I’ve been covering some of the events at the International Film Festival—Portland’s biggest film fest. I’m going to miss it when it ends this weekend. The Film Center has introduced me to so many great things that are happening in cinema these days.

My New Site!!! and…The Return of the Photo of the Day!
After many hours of hard work my new site is ready! I can’t take much of the credit. The photos are mine but the site concept and design were created by my good friend David Vanadia. His web site is Vanadia.com Those of you who used to frequent my Photo of the Day, which was started in 2000, have probably long gotten bored with the lack of updates in 2007. I had moved the POD to a Google blog and I just never felt at home, or was really sure what to do with it. But now I am committed to bringing the Photo of the Day back in this new form. Eventually you’ll be able to leave comments on the images, but for now you can email them to me.
Please let me know what you think of the new site design and feel free to contact me with any feedback or if you notice any problems.
