Local Reportage
Working with the Portland Sentinel, a media company on the cutting edge of hyper-local news coverage, I was able to document my community and get to know my neighbors.
The KINK Radio Sessions
One of my long-time clients was KINK FM radio. While working for them I had the opportunity to photograph many musical acts who came to perform at the station. This has allowed me to capture some very intimate performance photos - -sometimes even in the recording studio.
St. Johns Project
Some years ago I began to photograph the unique independent shops and small businesses that form the heart of my neighborhood, St. Johns, located at the north end of Portland across from the Cathedral Park Bridge. I am forever grateful to those who allowed me into their business to photograph. Many of these shops are no longer open.
